Dead Lands Cover

A school project that I managed to turn to my own purposes of paleo-shamanic-barbarian-action-comics. It was for a 'montage' project, so the idea was to integrate a bunch of different elements. The elements are as follows, starting at the top, going clockwise:
Spirit Helper looming in background
Spirit world represented by cave-engravings
Black Elk (the shaman character) doin' his drum dance
A scene with Black Elk cornered by a couple of spirits

Oh, and the "FONT OF STONE" I borrowed from Conan.
