Tropical Oviraptorby ~povorot

Another old sketch - this time, a tropical frugivore oviraptoran. One idea I wanted to do with this project is to have the Oviraptors as one of the more diverse and widespread groups of dinosaurs in this alternate earth. With that in mind, I doodled this guy - an African jungle-dweller, living like a big flightless parrot on the forest floor, rummaging through fallen fruits, nuts, and carrion.

Hey I have an idea for you. I know the KT let through Maniraptorins and Pterosaurs but I also think notosuchians might survive ([link]). They were warm blooded omnivorous (as well as a couple herbivores and carnivores) crocodiles that were smaller than house cats! It would be interesting if they survived and flourished in the tropics...
